Reflecting on R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds 2026
As we reflect on R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds 2026, we’re reminded of the power of a simple conversation.
Across Australia, transport, warehousing and logistics workplaces came together to create meaningful moments of connection. On depot floors, in warehouses, at truck stops and in lunchrooms, people took the time to check in with a colleague, teammate or mate and ask, “Are you OK?”
Throughout the campaign, over 300 Company Champions and close to 150 businesses helped bring the campaign to life, with workplaces of all sizes embracing the opportunity to prioritise mental health and wellbeing. Whether through toolbox talks, morning teas, team meetings or informal conversations, workplaces created spaces where people felt supported and encouraged to connect with one another.
These conversations matter. They help build stronger workplace cultures, reduce stigma around mental health, and remind people that they don’t have to face challenges alone.
While R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds provides an important moment to start the conversation, the message extends far beyond a single day or campaign. Creating mentally healthy workplaces means making connection part of everyday life and regularly checking in with the people around us.
As the campaign comes to a close, we encourage everyone to carry its message forward. Take the time to ask a colleague how they’re doing, listen without judgement, and stay connected.
Because meaningful conversations shouldn’t happen just one day a year.
Ask R U OK? Any Day.
