Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds is committed to developing tools, resources, information and training opportunities that are tailored to address the needs of the road transport, warehousing, and logistics industries.
Whether you are looking to build a workplace wellbeing plan, increase awareness by delivering toolbox talks, or thinking of holding an event to raise awareness of mental health, we encourage you to explore our resources.
Build a Mental Health Plan
Healthy Heads has developed the Roadmap Planner to aid better understanding of psychological health and safety. This resource assists businesses of all sizes to establish a Workplace Wellbeing Plan to help meet their work health and safety duty of care. The Roadmap Planner is built on the Seven Workplace Strategies outlined in the National Mental Health & Wellbeing Roadmap.
National Strategy
In 2021, the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries developed the Healthy Heads National Mental Health and Wellbeing Roadmap strategy to improve psychological health and safety across the sector. Built on a framework of prevention, protection and support, the Roadmap is underpinned by the Seven Workplace Strategies.
Mental Health Training
Healthy Heads has worked with leading mental health organisations to tailor evidence based training courses to suit the transport, warehousing and logistics sector. Mental health training in the workplace builds awareness and skills. By building knowledge about good mental health and workplace wellbeing, all people in the industry can look after their own mental health, support others, and feel safe.
Toolbox Talks
Our series of Toolbox Talks are ready to deliver straight to your teams, straight out of the Toolbox. The Talks cover subjects including – being aware of mental health, how to seek help, supporting one another, how to take action, and how to ask RU OK? Designed to be easy to deliver and understand, these Talks are a powerful resource for starting the conversation.
R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds
Life’s ups and downs happen to us all. One thing we can all do is have conversations with our workmates by simply asking – are you ok? We encourage workplaces in our sector to get involved and raise awareness through our industry ‘R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds’ initiative. There are free resources to help you organise your event and help you start a conversation.
Additional Resources
There are a range of additional resources to continue to build your knowledge and your team’s knowledge and confidence. It’s important to keep the conversation going and for every individual and organisation in the industry to continue to seek new learning in how they can support their own and others’ mental health and wellbeing.
