Paul Graham

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Australia Post

Paul Graham is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Australia Post. Paul is a supply chain industry leader, with more than 30 years’ experience, starting his career at 18 in customer service in the international cargo industry. Paul previously held the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer and Managing Director of Primary Connect, part of the Woolworths Group. In this role he oversaw a strategic rebuild of the supply chain network, including over $2 billion of infrastructure investment. He has held senior roles working across logistics in Australia, the UK, Taiwan, Singapore and Germany, including as Global Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer for Europe, Middle East & Africa for DHL. In addition to his executive roles Paul has also served as Chairman of a global digital marketing group based in London, served on various University and Government advisory Boards and also on Boards in the FMCG , Wholesale and farming sectors. Passionate about mental health and wellbeing, Paul is the Founding Chairman of the Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds Foundation, with a goal to improve mental wellbeing within the transport and logistics industry. An immigrant from Northern Ireland , Paul knows the value of Australia Post as an essential service, trusted to connect Australians to each other and to friends and family around the world.

Mark Parry

Managing Director, Ron Finemore Transport

Mark is a very successful and experienced senior executive who clearly demonstrates significant management, leadership, people skills and capabilities across a broad range of industries and sectors. These include manufacturing, mining, mining services, contracting, transport and logistics, and various other infrastructure projects. Mark is a strong, credible and proven communicator, having held a number of roles that have required him to be the face of the business to State and Federal Government Ministers and officials, regulatory bodies and a diverse range of stakeholders. With a strong value-based approach to leadership, Mark measures success by safely delivering business outcomes through exceptional and reliable customer service. His ethos is to ensure the survivability of a business by embedding sound leadership and business processes, in order to maintain sustainable change long after his departure.

Alan Beacham

Managing Director, Toll Group

Alan Beacham became Managing Director at Toll Group, a leading global logistics company, on 1 July 2022. Prior to this position, Alan spent four years with the company in roles including President of Global Forwarding and President of Global Express where he was instrumental in leading the successful turnaround and then divestment of the business. At Toll, Alan is leading an ambitious strategy to transform the company into one of Asia Pacific’s leading transport and supply chain companies. Prior to Toll, Alan has had a successful 20-year career in a wide variety of senior managerial and executive roles across Europe and Australia in the aviation, automotive and rail industries. Alan is known as an inspiring and values-based leader who builds strong teams and fosters a positive culture, with a focus on delivering great customer outcomes and caring for people. Former board memberships include Metro Trains Melbourne & Sydney, UGL Unipart, Naval Ship Management, and the Australian Rail Association. Alan has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Nottingham. He is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineering & Technology, UK.

Lachlan Benson

Managing Director Blue Arcadia

Lachlan is the Managing Director of Blue Arcadia Pty Ltd, a consultancy specialising in strategic transport and logistics advice to a number of Australia’s top freight companies and port corporations. Lachlan also sits as a Non-Executive Director on a number of industry-related boards, including the iMOVE Cooperative Research Centre into freight mobility, and as an Advisory Board Member for a number of infrastructure investment managers for their freight assets. He is well known to many in Australia’s freight logistics industry, having previously been the interim CEO of the Australian Logistics Council, as well as serving five years as Executive General Manager of Logistics at Sydney Ports Corporation, where he oversaw the highly successful Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy. This built on extensive experience in supply-chain management issues gained in other senior logistics roles, including as NSW and QLD State Manager for grain exporter AWB Limited, as a Senior Policy adviser for ports and freight within the NSW Department of Transport, and as Manager of the Transport Logistics & Infrastructure Group at Informa Australia.

Tony Clark

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NTI Limited

Tony Clark is Chief Executive Officer of National Transport Insurance. His hands-on approach to providing strategic direction and leadership has secured NTI as Australia’s No1 specialist insurance provider in Australia, including NTI heavy motor, Yellow Cover (mobile plant & equipment), Marine Protect (marine & cargo), Truck Assist (heavy vehicle roadside assistance) and innovative digital brands including Drivepack and ‘Shipping & Delivery’. NTI’s multi award winning business model comes from their emphasis on workplace culture, customer centric approach, innovation and purpose ‘to make you safer and more sustainable’. Tony has garnered over 30 years industry experience in a variety of senior roles. He holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Advanced Business Practice, and has completed post graduate studies in Strategic Leadership and Strategic Marketing. Tony is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Geoff Crouch

Executive Director, Ron Crouch Transport

Geoff Crouch is the Executive Director of Ron Crouch Transport, a third-generation family-owned national 3PL company specialising in dangerous goods. He is the immediate past Chair of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA), serving from 2017 to 2020, and was President of the National Road Transporters Association (NatRoad) from 2011 to 2015. He continues to serve as a director of the ATA and has a seat on the General Council. Geoff is also a current member of the NSW Freight & Logistics Advisory Council, chaired by the NSW Roads Minister. At the commencement of his term as ATA Chair, Geoff publicly stated that he intended to make mental wellbeing a key focus of the ATA. He is committed to making a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of the Australian logistics industry.

Belinda Flynn

General Manager Safety, Health and Environment Manager, Qube

Belinda joined Qube in 2007, and previously held divisional safety, health and sustainability roles, including in Qube’s Ports and Bulk division. She was appointed Group General Manager Health, Safety and Sustainability in 2014. Belinda holds a Degree in Applied Science and Graduate Diploma in Safety Science. She has 20 years of experience in safety, health and environment in the rail, construction and logistics sector. She also has experience with working with senior executives to drive safety by supporting our leaders to build resilience, capability and efficiency.

Jo Hammond

General Manager of Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Supply Chain, Coles

Jo joined Coles in 2009, and has held several senior roles across Logistics and Supply Chain, being appointed General Manager of the Supply Chain (North Zone Operations) in October 2017, and more recently General Manager of Safety, Health + Wellbeing | Supply Chain.

Mark Mazurek

Chief Executive Officer, Linfox

Mark is responsible for leading the largest privately-owned logistics company in Asia Pacific, as CEO Linfox Logistics Australia and New Zealand, to achieve its vision to be the most trusted logistics partner in Australia and New Zealand. Ben Newton

General Manager Strategy, Development & Partnerships, Primary Connect

Ben leads the Strategy, Development, Solutions and Fleet functions for Transport in Primary Connect (Part of the Woolworths Group). He has extensive experience in strategy and logistics developed over a long career with Woolworths performing various senior management roles in operations, strategy development and delivery, and corporate business development. Ben is on the Board and Deputy Chair of the Australian Logistics Council (ALC). Ben also actively supports the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Foundation, which he helped to launch in 2020.

Reini Otter

Chief Executive Officer

Reini is responsible for Frasers Property Industrial. He oversees the Group’s logistics and industrial operations in Australia and Europe, and Frasers Logistics and Commercial Asset Management Pte. Ltd., the manager of Singapore-listed Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust. Reini is also a Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director of Frasers Logistics & Commercial Asset Management Pte. Ltd, as of July 2020. Reini joined the Group’s Australian operations in 1998 and has held senior leadership positions within the Commercial & Industrial business in Australia for over 15 years. Reini is also a Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Board Director.

Paul Ryan

Director, TEACHO Ltd Training Education Audit Compliance Health Organisation

In 1987, Paul joined Mayne Nickless Ltd, a large Australian multi-national transport company, where he was the IR Advisor for around 25 transport businesses. In 1992, he represented Australian employers at the Inland Transport Group of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva. Since 1997, Paul has assisted the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) with both strategic and operational industrial advice on workplace relations issues. Currently, these include: advice and assistance to members on Enterprise Bargaining and related issues; advice to members concerning unfair dismissals; submissions on behalf of the industry on major industrial cases; general IR advice and assistance as requested by members. Paul is the National Industrial Advisor for both the VTA and Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation (ARTIO), and is also the VTA nominated employer member representative to the Transport Education Audit Compliance Health Organisation (TEACHO), a joint union/employer body focused on improving the transport industry to benefit both employers and workers, especially around health issues. Paul is a former Industry Member of the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal, which was abolished in April 2016. He is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee at TWUSUPER, the super fund for the freight and logistics industry.
